Prayer 74: South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands

 Pray for the South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands, SOUTH AMERICA

The last South American entity is the polar territories of the South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands. They have no permanent residents, but millions of revenue is made from fishing on them.

We pray for everyone whose livelihood comes from these islands, directly or indirectly. We pray for all forms of marine life and other ecosystems that live on or near the islands.

We pray for the world, for peace and understanding, for hope and new beginnings, to prosperous and generous nations. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer 73: Falkland Islands (Malvinas), SOUTH AMERICA

 Pray for the Falkland Islands.

– Currently, she is being placed right in the middle of a dispute of territory between Argentina and the UK, two nations with interests in the islands.
– Pray for a resolution of the disagreement. Pray that the people of the Falkland Islands are respected and taken care of and have a voice to declare their needs in this matter.
– Pray that they are not mistreated or exploited as other nations discuss their future.
– Pray that the hand of the Lord will bless and keep the people and the land of the Falkland Islands – economically, socially and especially politically.
